A stunning aurora, plus friends.

Two nights ago at around 11:30pm I was in bed, all ready to sleep, when suddenly Ailie burst in to proclaim "NORTHERN LIGHTS! OUTSIDE! NOW!". I burst out of bed, quickly threw on some clothes and ran outside. Wow.

There were huge rippling green and purple ribbons in the sky, they were so intense! All 7 of us jumped into a 2 seater van and picked up our cameras then drove up the hill. By this time the lights had faded a little, but I could still get some amazing pictures!
